Localore ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data when you use the Localore mobile application. We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy.
Information We Collect
Location Data
Localore requests access to your device's GPS location solely to generate a story about your current surroundings. Your precise location is sent to our AI provider to produce the story and is not stored on our servers after the story is generated.
Account Information
If you create an account, we collect your email address for authentication via Supabase. This is used solely for account management and to save your story history.
Purchase Information
Premium subscriptions are processed through Apple In-App Purchase and managed by RevenueCat. We do not store your payment details. RevenueCat notifies us of your subscription status to unlock premium features.
How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information to:
- Generate location-based stories using your GPS coordinates.
- Save your story history to your account.
- Manage your subscription and unlock premium features.
- Respond to support requests you submit.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal data to outside parties. Your location is shared with Google (Gemini AI) only to generate your requested story. We use Supabase for authentication and data storage, and RevenueCat for subscription management — both under their respective privacy policies.
