Why does Localore need my location?
Your GPS coordinates are used to identify where you are and generate a story about that specific place. Location is only accessed when you tap the generate button and is not stored on our servers after your story is created.
How many stories do I get for free?
Free accounts receive 20 lifetime stories. Your first 10 use high-quality Neural2 voice; the remainder use your device's built-in text-to-speech. Upgrade to Premium for 75 stories per month with Neural2 voice on every story.
What does Premium include?
Premium gives you 75 stories per month, Google Cloud Neural2 TTS on every story, and the ability to add a custom topic (e.g. "birds" or "street art") that the AI weaves into your story.
Is my story history saved?
Yes. All past stories are saved to your Localore account and are browsable from the History tab at any time.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through Apple. Go to Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your iPhone to cancel or manage your Localore subscription.
